If you are throwing a themed party or fancy dress party, you may be looking for good party bands in London as well. After all, a theme should be accompanied by the right type of music and a live band always adds a lot to a good atmosphere. But how do you find the best possible party bands? How do you make sure that you don’t end up with a bunch of people that ruin the party as a whole?

In return the best remix almost always gets a release on the record label that the musician is signed to. Usually prizes are also handed out such as music equipment, subscription to websites or anything else useful for a music producer.

The old adage “it’s not what you know, it’s who you know” is very true when talking about getting a DJ gig. Networking comes above anything else: skill, technique, the tunes you play, the club, the environment, anything…you just need to know one of the right people. Getting to know promoters is far and away the most important factor for getting gigs.

Matt Hill: I don’t know. I think it’s just that we go straight for the funk every night. I know some bands dig into that somewhat. I don’t know though. That’s another thing I just haven’t really thought about. When we’re working on tracks and stuff, I kind of just work on one until I can’t stop dancing to it. Maybe that comes out. Also, I think that we don’t take it too seriously. I mean, we take the music seriously when it comes to making it good and stuff. But then again, we smile in pictures. We don’t act all hood and crap like that. Yeah man, I think that maybe it’s just years and years of listening to and playing funk and that kind of defines our sound.

Rather, new sites like soundcloud are leading the game of social media for Producers, DJ’s, and musicians alike. soundcloud banner dimensions provides a simple, easy to use medium for those who wish to stream their music for free. Also, YouTube has become a go-to source for hearing single songs from your favorite artists. Popular songs reach into the tens of millions of song plays. So it is important to create video counterparts to all the songs that you want in the public square. This doesn’t mean that you need to make a music video; it could simply be a 3 minute long clip of your album artwork, with 0 editing. The point is if someone wants to hear your music, the first place they will go to find you may very likely be YouTube.

Kaskade’s remix of this track from Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy album is, not to put too fine a point on it, fantastic. The original mix was already top-notch, and Kaskade has add his brilliant and unique touch and made this into a favorite of mine.

This album, like most of Kaskade’s artist releases, is brimming with fantastic music. But the track that stands out to me is this one. Kaskade worked with EDX on this track, and Haley provides the excellent vocal work.
